Canyoning in the Allgäu for Families with Kids"This was more than a fantastic experience together with my children, aged 13 and 22. We were already received in a super friendly manner at base camp by Noah and Daniel. After the briefing and trying on wetsuits, we headed to the cliff in our own car (10 min). There, we received our helmets and climbing harnesses. Then, a climb to the top begins, which involves walking for about 20 minutes. Already beautiful. Then it really begins. Abseiling, jumping, sliding. Amazing, but also exciting. You could always indicate if there was something you didn't want to do or didn't dare to do. Plenty of time to make an extra jump, and it was striking that they remember your names and regularly call out to ask how you are doing. Truly a fantastic activity. There were four of us on the rafting tour, and we were all absolutely thrilled! A huge thank you goes to our guide, Louis. As a sports science student, his expertise was immediately apparent: he confidently and with great composure ensured our safety, so we felt completely at ease at all times.
