I highly recommend the school, and especially my instructor, Vitek. As a 50 year old woman who has never seen a snowboard in real life, and hearing the horror stories about snowboarding, I was doubting my decision. However, here comes Vitek, full of enthusiasm, able to make me relaxed, explaning everything, making sure I don't actually fall (I only fell 4-5 times on the last day once I was snowboarding on my own - YES, I was able to snowboard and zig-zag down the bunny slope on the 7th hour of learning!), he was able to fully adjust his teaching to my skill and speed of learning, and even the weird part where I don't have preference for a side (regular or goofy). We have even started doing the turns the last day, and he managed to remove my fear from the lift! I absolutely love snowboarding now, and I am planning to go back to Hinterglemm/Saalbach next winter, and continuing lessons with Vitek.

As a 59-year-old complete beginner with absolutely no prior experience, I felt very well taken care of. I attended a 5-day ski course and learned the most important basics during the first three days with Christijn's guidance. By the morning of the second day, we were already out on the slopes, having moved from the practice area. From day four onwards, I was able to switch to a more advanced group. Here, too, I felt very well looked after thanks to Myrthe's excellent instruction, and since there were only two of us left on the last day, it was almost as if I had private lessons with Myrthe. She took plenty of time to address our mistakes, allowing us to correct them and make significant progress. After the 5 days, I felt confident enough to tackle other blue runs on my own. I can wholeheartedly recommend this ski school and am already considering booking some private lessons there on my next ski vacation.
