I’d totally recommend private ski lessons with evolution. Sandrine was superb. I had been (shabbily) self taught for 30 years and with hindsight had limited control over what I was doing, particularly on red runs. Sandrine went back to basics, and wow: day by day, one thing at a time, she completely overhauled my understanding of how to ski and my technique. She never overwhelmed me with too much information, she was great company and very funny. She also taught me more about piste and lift etiquette, personal safety and responsibility to others vis a vis ALWAYS being in control, on every turn, on every slope, in every circumstance. I was hoping for a metaphorical “gold star” from her at the end of my five days, but such are her high standards, she gave me a “silver star” (Which is entirely fair. 😂). I don’t think I’ll ever go skiing now without kicking off the trip with lessons. It has made SOOOO much difference and I only wish more people would do it, irrespective of how good they think they are, and to reduce the number of collisions on the slopes…. I saw a lot out there and I see a lot everywhere, all because so many people are really not in control. Thank you Sandrine for your superb “holistic” instruction and excellent company. I shall return next year (hopefully) to try and get that “gold star” from you 😉💪🏻. And thereafter, the platinum etc etc. A shout out to all the ladies on the communication side too (Camille etc). They were lovely.
