Discover the adventure of free diving together with our experts! With only one breath you will dive into the underwater world of Malta in Saint Paul's Bay. During this course you will have the opportunity to get a taste of free diving for the first time and to feel completely weightless underwater without any scuba equipment.
Dive AreaOur
house reef directly right next to our base offers optimal conditions for your first experience with free diving. In the confined water, you are never far away from the safe shore and can start your
first dives without breathing apparatus. Underwater you have the possibility to discover an overgrown anchor as well as a beautiful sand field and its inhabitants.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby. We either meet directly at our base at the
Gillieru Harbour Hotel or pick you up from your accommodation (in St. Paul's Bay area only) and take you to the dive centre. Here you get to know your guides and receive the equipment. As soon as the group is ready, we will start with a
theoretical introduction, explaining breathing techniques and safety instructions.
- Diving:In the water of our house reef, you first train a few basics in shallow water under the guidance of your diving instructor. As soon as you feel ready, we will start with the
first freediving exercises, where you will find out how to stay underwater as long and safely as possible with just one breath.
- Return:After diving, we return to our base where you are welcome to end the day with a cup of coffee or a cool beer. If you have been picked up from the hotel, we will, of course, take you back.
