Advance your surfing skills and learn how to take the drop in green waves! If you already have some surfing experience and want to level up, our professional team has just the right course for you. Improve your technique and learn new skills like how to perform the bottom turn as well as understanding the sea conditions better. To increase your performance, we will help you choose the right surfboard that's appropriate for this stage and that fits your weight, height and capabilities.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our Beach Hut on Praia da Arrifana 10 minutes before the appointed time. There is a bus stop approximately 500 m from the beach. There is also a free parking area nearby for those who come by car. To start, you'll get to know your group and your surf instructor. If you have any valuables with you, we'll keep them safe for the duration of the course. Before the lesson starts, we will give you all the necessary equipment consisting of a wetsuit or rash guard and, most importantly, the surfboard. The course consists of 1.5hrs in the water or 2x 1.5hrs in the water for the full-day-options. Outside of the water, you will learn as much as in the water and can take breaks in between to refuel your energy.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 2 days in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

I went there on short notice and just booked myself in the day before. Response was prompt and organisation was just easy. I got all the information I needed. The surf lesson was nicely put together and instructors looked out for everyone and ensure the group was safe at all times. Transfers are available but best to check beforehand how it works as it is a bit depending on the group overall.
