Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our Beach Hut on Praia da Arrifana 10 minutes before the appointed time. There is a bus stop approximately 500m from the beach. There is also a free parking area nearby for those who come by car. To start, you'll get to know your surf instructor. If you have any valuables with you, we'll keep them safe for the duration of the course. Before the lesson starts, we will give you all the necessary equipment consisting of a wetsuit or rash guard and, most importantly, the surfboard.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 2 days in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.
Course Content
The instructor will adapt the course content to suit your level and experience. If you are a complete beginner, you will focus on the basics such as catching a wave, paddling and standing up on your board. If you're already more experienced, you will work on some more advanced techniques.
