Surfing on the rousing waves of Portugal's Atlantic coast and feeling the breeze in one's hair is a dream for many. Join our surfing lessons for beginners, in a group of maximum 6 people for a more personalised approach, and learn how to surf in one of the most magnificent surfing hotspots in Europe. Whether in Arrifana, Monte Clerigo, or Amoreia, the ideal surfing conditions in this region will provide an unforgettable experience.
Meeting & Preparation
Depending on the weather conditions, we meet either at our office on Praia de Monte Clérigo or at our surf camp in Arrifana. If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby.
The start time of the course can vary, as we are dependent on the tides for optimum conditions. As such, please plan some extra time to accommodate any changes in schedule. We will contact you in time with the exact start times after you have booked your course. Depending on the weather conditions, we might drive you to one of the other beaches in Aljezur, Arrifana, Vale Da Telha, or Amoreira.

I completed the surfing course today and can recommend it without reservation. The atmosphere was fantastic and the other participants were very nice. Nelson and his intern looked after us excellently and catered to our individual needs and levels. They managed to teach us how to surf in a short time - it was incredibly fun. You need to have swimming ability to participate. The minimum age is 7 years.
