Scuba Diver Course in Crete for Beginners

Diver's Club Crete will help you learn everything you need to know about scuba diving and our highly professional instructors will be by your side as you begin to gain experience underwater. Enjoy the fascinating submarine wildlife that can be found just off the shore in front of our dive centre.

Goal of the course After having completed the Scuba Diver course, you are able to dive to a maximum depth of 12m, given that you are properly supervised by a professional. You will be introduced to the world of scuba diving, get to know how your scuba gear works and familiarise yourself with the sensation of breathing underwater. Furthermore, with it being a sub-programme of the Open Water Diver programme, you would only need to attend another 2 theory lessons and complete 2 confined water dives and 2 open water dives in order to obtain the full Open Water Diver certification.

Meeting & Preparation We meet at our dive centre where you will meet your instructor and discuss the schedule of your course. We will ask you to fill out the medical statement to ensure you are fit to go scuba diving. The theory for this course is done by eLearning, from your computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and can be done even before your arrival at our dive centre. You can finish the theory comfortably at home and do all the fun parts here with us. Please note that the eLearning course is not included in the price and must be paid for on site at a cost of 180€.

Course content - Day 1: 1 Confined Open Water Dive + 1 Open Water Dive - Day 2: 1 Open Water Dive Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.

Good to know - The transfer service (return included) is free of charge from/to the following areas: Agia Pelagia, Ammoudara, Analipsi, Anissaras, Fodele, Gouves, Heraklion, Hersonissos, Karteros, Kokkini Hani, Koutouloufari, Lygaria, Made, Malia, Mononaftis, Piskopiano and Stalis. It starts every day at 8 am, depending on the area, and the drop-off to your accommodation starts at about 3:30 pm
