Open Water Diver Course in Crete for Beginners

Goal of the course
Holding the Open Water Diver certification allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18m, without needing to be supervised by an instructor. All you need is a buddy with a certification of equal or higher level and you are free to roam the oceans together.

Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our dive centre where you will meet your instructor and discuss the schedule of your course. We will ask you to fill out the medical statement to ensure you are fit to go scuba diving. For the eLearning, you will receive the login details from us after completed booking and can take the theory course online from the comfort of your home. If you complete the eLearning programme before the first day of your course with us, you can start with the practical dives right away. In that case, you will receive your rental equipment and can jump in the water with your instructor.

Course content
- Day 1: 2 Confined water dives
- Day 2: 2 Open water dives
- Day 3: 2 Open water dives (at least 1 from the boat)
Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.

Good to know
- Free hotel pickup for the areas between Heraklion and Malia, including the areas of Agia Pelagia, Mononaftis, Lygaria, Fodele and Ammoudara. The transfers are between 08:00-09:30 and the return back to your pick up point starts at 16:00.
