Tour programme
Preparation:
We meet at "Praia Fluvial do Areinho", about one hour drive from Porto. Here you will meet your guides, receive the necessary equipment and get changed. As soon as all participants are ready, we head to the starting point of our canoe tour on the Rio Paiva which is directly at the meeting point.
Tour:
Before you start you will receive a safety briefing from your guide. Then everyone gets into their canoes and the thrilling ride can begin. On the command of your guide you paddle through exciting rapids and get to know the Arouca Geopark from a very special perspective. Along the way, we take breaks to swim in natural pools and enjoy nature. If the water level gets too low, we get out and carry the canoes for a little while.
Return:
After about 2 hours on the water we reach the endpoint of our canoe tour. From here our transfer takes you back to the initial meeting point.
