This easy section of the river has splashing class II rapids guarantueeing fun for everyone, including children from 5 years. Under the instruction of your certified local guide, you paddle through Arouca Geopark and discover the area of the well-known Paiva Walkways from a whole new perspective.

Tour programme
Preparation
We meet in Espiunca in Arouca, about one hour drive from Porto. Here you will meet your guides, receive the necessary equipment and get changed. As soon as all participants are ready, we will take you to the starting point of our rafting tour on the Rio Paiva.
Tour
Before you start you will receive a safety briefing from your guide. Then everyone gets into the rafts and the thrilling ride can begin. On the command of your guide you paddle through exciting rapids and get to know the Arouca Geopark from a very special perspective.
Return
After about 2 hours on the water we reach the end point of our rafting tour. From here our transfer takes you back to the meeting point where you can take a shower and change your clothes.

- Description: The Rio Paiva is especially famous for the "Passadiços do Paiva", a network of wooden walkways that lead through untouched nature. From October to May, whitewater fans the river offers the ideal conditions for an unforgettable rafting tour in the middle of the Arouca Geopark.
