Discover the landscapes of the Ardèche in a new way: thanks to the canyoning in the Haut Chassezac canyon, you will be able to enjoy the wild landscapes and observe the local nature. Thanks to the various hurdles of the tour, your day will be full of laughter and thrills. With family or friends, challenge yourself on the jumps, natural slides, abseiling and many other natural obstacles. Come and discover all the surprises the gorge has to offer!
Tour programme- Preparation:
Meet at our base in Les Assions, 15 minutes before the booked time, where you can get to know the whole team. You will then drive 45 minutes to the activity site in your own vehicle.
- Tour:
Once we arrive, we'll take a 20-minute approach walk. In the canyon, we will alternate between jumps of up to 8 m, slides of 6 m, abseiling and swimming in the Chassezac. You can take a break between two descents to have a picnic by the water on the warm granite. As this is a full day trip, you will have time to do the jumps and slides as many times as you like!
- Return:
Once you reach the end of the canyon, you will walk for 45 minutes with a big drop in altitude to get back to your vehicle.

Do I need to know how to swim, and is it safe for children?
Yes, being able to swim is a requirement to participate. The activity is suitable for children from the age of 12. All participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Will this be too challenging if my group has never done it before?
No previous canyoning experience is necessary, but you should be in good physical health and sure-footed. The jumps of up to 8 metres are optional, and the certified guide will be there to ensure your safety throughout the tour.
What should I bring with me for the activity?
