Details

If you're on holiday in the region, this really is the activity not to be missed. Because of its length and intensity, this descent is best reserved for the more athletic, aged 16 and over. You'll pass through the most athletic rapids in Europe's largest canyon, on a journey that will live long in your memory. Ready for the challenge?
Tour programme
- Preparation: We meet at our base in Castellane, 15 minutes before the start of the activity. There is a private car park and changing rooms on site. Your guide will brief you on safety instructions and the use of your equipment, and then we'll take the shuttle bus to the starting point. Then it's time to get in the water!
- Tour: The descent begins in Castellane. You'll be in the most turbulent part of the river, crossing rapids with evocative names like "la Dégoulinante" and "le Solitaire". You'll also have the chance to cool off in the emerald waters of the Verdon during sessions of swimming in the rapids and jumping off the rocks, but there's no obligation to do so. Throughout the descent, the guide will ensure your safety from the raft and provide you with invaluable tips for tackling the most intense rapids!
- Return: After 3 hours 30 minutes, you will arrive at the end of the descent at Point Sublime. The shuttle will be waiting to take you back to the base, where you can collect your belongings and your vehicle.
