Just one and a half days will be enough to introduce you to the world of scuba diving, to experience the emotions of breathing underwater and feeling light, as if gravity did not exist! With our PADI Scuba Diver course in Capoliveri, where theoretical and practical lessons alternate, you will learn to love this activity. To ensure you have the best possible experience in total safety, each instructor will dive with a maximum of four participants. In addition, many of our instructors are marine biologists, and they can't wait to tell you stories about the many species of fish you will see on the seabed of the island of Elba, such as Mola Mola and the Muraena.
The PADI Scuba Diver course qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet
- Dive with a scuba diving instructor by your side
Programme- On-site theory lecture:
Before each dive, we will hold theory lessons in our centre's classroom. Our experienced instructor will teach you the basics of diving in Italian or English. You will be given PADI manuals (included in the price) in the language you request.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our base at the appointed time, in the vicinity of which there is a free car park (chargeable in high season). First, we will have an initial half-hour theory lesson in our centre. Afterwards, you will receive the necessary material for the activity, and we will go to the shore to do a lesson in confined water. Once you have learnt breathing techniques underwater, and the basic language for communicating with the instructor, we will set off in one of our boats in search of the perfect spot to dive. At this point, you will be happy to make your very first real dive! Back at the base, we will also conduct two further theory lessons to deepen and implement your knowledge of the world of diving. Following this, two lessons in confined water will be the last step, before the final open water dive. At the end of this adventure, you will obtain your PADI Scuba Diver certificate! You can complete this course in one and a half days, or attend classes on different days.
