Complete our PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course in Capoliveri, and we will provide you with the knowledge you need to become a true explorer of the world's seabed! With us, 4 or 5 exciting days await you at one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Elba, Morcone, where our centre is located. Our experienced instructors will teach you the techniques of diving, as well as the language for communicating underwater.
You will taste the sensation of the first time breathing with a scuba tank, and then experience the enormous thrill of your first dives in the clear waters of Tuscany! Each group will consist of a maximum of four students per instructor, so you can make the most of this course. We also have marine biologists on hand to tell you all the interesting facts about the many species living in this part of the Mediterranean, such as Mola Mola, the muraena and red coral.
The PADI Open Water Diver qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide
Programme- On-site theory lecture:
Before each dive, we will hold theory lessons in our centre's classroom. Our experienced instructor will teach you the basics of diving in Italian or English. You will be given PADI manuals (included in the price) in the language you request.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our base at the appointed time, in the vicinity of which there is a free car park (payable in high season). You will have the opportunity to take lessons on different days, adapting them to your needs. First, we will give you an initial half-hour theory lesson in our centre. Afterwards, you will receive the necessary material for the activity, and we will go to the shore to do a lesson in confined water. Once you have learnt breathing techniques underwater, and the basic language for communicating with the instructor, we will set off in one of our boats in search of the perfect spot to dive. At this point, you will be happy to make your very first real dive! To complete the programme, we will also conduct 4 more theory lessons to deepen and implement your knowledge of the world of diving, and 4 more confined water lessons so you can immediately put into practice what you have learnt. The most fun moment will finally come with the two open water dives. At the end of this adventure, you will obtain your PADI Open Water Diver certificate! You can complete this course in one and a half days, or attend classes on different days.
