This was the best Part of our vacation! Rui is a very experienced surfer and such an amazing human being. The groups were very small (just 2 people) and we went to less crowded beaches. He had a very positive energy and encouraged us to reach our full potential, even though we were complete beginners, we felt very safe and had a lot of fun, he even changed the beach location accordingly with the different wave conditions and the weather on the second day, so that we could have the best possible experience and learn more. Afterwards he showed us a few hidden gems in town and send us a lot of amazing recommendations. We are already looking forward to our next course with Rui, if you are looking for that special surf-experience in Portugal this is your guy.

I'd definitely recommend this to other people. Vitor (my instructor), took me from zero experience to riding waves (though not huge ones) in under 1.5 hours. It blew my mind how incredible the experience was and what a great way to learn. He gave me specific feedback that allowed me to make quick adjustments and learn quickly. Great teacher, thanks Vitor!!! The service was really good as well, he picked me up from my Airbnb and drop me back after the lesson. nicely done ;-)
