New to rafting? No problem! Our experienced guides will help you every step of the way, showing you how to use the oars and navigate the Arachthos Canyon safely. Our adventure begins at the charming Charokopi (Tsibovo) Bridge, where we will get ready and start our exciting journey along the Arachthos Potamos River. These activities are best suited for experienced adventurers seeking thrilling outdoor experiences.
As we float along our 20 km route, get ready to be amazed by nature's beauty. You will see tall cliffs covered in green moss and have the chance to cool off under the impressive 14-meter Klifkis Waterfall. But the fun does not stop there! We will pass under the amazing one-arch Plaka Bridge before reaching the Alpine Zone base camp. There, you can enjoy some sweet treats, fresh water, and can use our convenient changing rooms with showers.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our starting point, Charokopi (Tsibovo) Bridge 15 minutes before the start of the activity. There is free parking available close by. You will receive the equipment from us and put it on in the changing rooms. Our guide will then introduce you to the technique of paddling and talk about safety instructions. Then, the excursion can begin.
- Tour:
Embark on our exhilarating 20 km route, floating along the Arachthos Canyon. Marvel at the awe-inspiring natural beauty, including tall cliffs adorned in green moss. Take a refreshing break beneath the impressive 14-meter Klifkis Waterfall. Continue the adventure, passing under the iconic one-arch Plaka Bridge.- Return:
At the end of the tour, we will return to the base. There are toilets, showers and changing rooms, so you can change into dry clothes and warm up after this exciting tour.
