Canyoning in the Deos Canyon in Paleochori

Our journey commences from the designated parking area which you reach using our pick-up service, leading us down a dirt road before transitioning onto a winding path. Positioned closely together, each rappelling point in the Deos Canyon offers a thrilling descent, with the highest reaching an exhilarating 27 meters.

As we navigate through the heart-pounding descents, we encounter unique challenges, including rappelling within a captivating cave during the eighth descent. Our final and ninth rappel plunges us into darkness as we venture once more into the depths of a cavernous passage. As we ascend, we reflect on the adrenaline-fueled journey we've undertaken, each step bringing us closer to the memories forged during our daring adventure.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our starting point, the parking lot of Megalo Papigo 15 minutes before departure. There is free parking available close by. You will receive the equipment from us and put it on in the changing rooms. Our guide will then introduce you to the technique of paddling and talk about safety instructions. Then, the excursion can begin.
- Tour:
Experience an exciting descent in the Deos Canyon with closely spaced abseiling points that are up to 27 metres high. Unique challenges such as abseiling in a fascinating cave await you. After the exciting series, we hike 35 to 40 minutes back to the starting point, each step bringing us closer to the memories.
- Return:
At the end of the tour, we will return to the base. There are toilets, showers and changing rooms, so you can change into dry clothes and warm up after this exciting tour.
