What to Expect

These private ski lessons for small children aged 3 to 4 in Zell am See are specially designed for young beginners, providing a safe and supportive environment for their first skiing experience. Located in the beautiful Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See - Kaprun ski resort, with its 77 kilometres of slopes, the resort offers gentle beginner areas perfect for introducing little ones to the joys of skiing. With the option of one-on-one instruction or small groups of up to 2 children, these lessons ensure that your child receives focused attention from experienced ski instructors who specialize in teaching young learners.

The lessons begin with a gentle introduction to the snow, allowing children to become familiar with the environment and their equipment. Through playful exercises, the instructors teach balancing, gliding, and safe stopping techniques on flat or slightly inclined areas. The focus is on building confidence, coordination, and comfort on skis, with an emphasis on making the experience fun and engaging. Using games and age-appropriate teaching methods, the instructors guide your child through their first sliding movements, helping them develop the basic skills needed to start skiing.

These private lessons create a flexible and relaxed atmosphere, tailored specifically to the needs of young children. Meeting Time

Please come to the selected ski school office 30 to 45 minutes before the lesson. There, you will receive all the information regarding the exact meeting point. The offices are located at the bottom stations of the following cable cars: AreitXpress, CityXpress, and TrassXpress.

For the actual lesson: Depending on what location you prefer, we meet at the ski school office at the bottom station of the AreitXpress cable car or at the office at the TrassXpress, at the booked time.

Ski Pass

When you come to one of our ski school offices before the start of your lesson, you will get all the information about what ski pass you will need.

Children under 6 years generally receive a free ski pass.
