What to Expect

These ski lessons for teenagers aged 12 to 15 in Zell am See are the perfect starting point for those who have never skied before or have little experience. Set in the stunning Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See - Kaprun ski resort, with its 77 kilometres of slopes, this course offers an ideal introduction to skiing. The resort features gentle beginner slopes and modern facilities, providing a safe and welcoming environment for teens to learn. Skiing in a group of peers is not only fun but also encourages camaraderie and shared progress. To ensure personalised instruction, the groups are kept small, with a maximum of 12 participants, and are divided by skill level on the first day.

The lessons begin with the essentials, as teens get familiar with their equipment and practice balancing on skis, which is key to feeling comfortable and confident on the snow. On the gentle training slopes, they will learn basic sliding techniques, how to stop safely, and make their first turns. These foundational skills are essential for building control and preparing them for more advanced exercises later in the course. The structured yet engaging teaching methods, combined with varied training programmes, make learning enjoyable and effective. With plenty of fun and action, teens will be encouraged to push themselves while celebrating small achievements.

By the end of the lessons, teens will have built a strong foundation in skiing, along with the confidence to explore the slopes further. Meeting Time

Please visit the selected ski school office either the day before or on the day of the lesson, latest 45 minutes before the lesson. The offices are located at the bottom stations of the following cable cars: AreitXpress, CityXpress and TrassXpress.

For the actual lesson: Depending on what location you book, we will meet 30 minutes before the start of the lesson at one of our ski school offices at the bottom stations of the cable cars AreitXpress, CityXpress or TrassXpress.

Lunch Care

During the lunch break, the ski instructor will have lunch with the teens in one of the many mountain huts. You can book lunch supervision and meal for €18 on site.

Ski Pass

When you come to one of our ski school offices before the start of your lesson, you will get all the information about what ski pass you will need.

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels or change instructor during the course
