What to Expect

These snowboarding lessons in Zell am See are perfect for kids and adults with no or very little experience, providing a supportive and structured environment to learn or enhance snowboarding skills. Set in the picturesque Schmittenhöhe - Zell am See - Kaprun ski resort, with its 77 kilometres of slopes, the resort offers diverse terrain suitable for both first-timers and those with some experience. With small group sizes of up to 10 participants, the lessons ensure each individual receives focused attention and expert guidance from experienced snowboard instructors.

For first-timers, the lessons start in the practice area with an introduction to the equipment and basic safety instructions. Participants will work on essential skills such as gliding, sliding, braking, and drifting on gentle slopes. These exercises provide a solid foundation and build confidence on the snowboard. For those with some prior experience, the lessons focus on refining key techniques, including frontside and backside drift turns, and improving control on blue slopes. Depending on progress, participants may also explore red slopes and work on more advanced maneuvers.

The group setting offers a fun and collaborative learning experience, while the instructors adapt their teaching to accommodate different levels within the group. Whether it is learning the basics for the first time or improving your skills, these lessons are ideal for snowboarders seeking to progress in a friendly and engaging environment. Meeting Time

Please visit the selected ski school office 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the lesson. The offices are located at the bottom stations of the following cable cars: AreitXpress, CityXpress and TrassXpress.

For the actual lesson: We will meet at the ski school office at the bottom station of the AreitXpress cable car, at the booked time.

Lunch Care

Your children can be cared for by the instructors during lunch (meals and lunch care). You can book it directly on site.

Ski Pass

When you come to one of our ski school offices before the start of your lesson, you will get all the information about what ski pass you will need.

• If a group has fewer than 4 participants, either groups will be merged or the lesson time will be shortened
