What to Expect

If you are a first time surfer or want to bring your surfing skills to the next level, join us in our surf group lesson at the best surf spots in Portugal. We will come and pick you up from your accommodation, then we will drive to the chosen beach. Based on the tides and the sea condition, we will pick the right beach for you. After a briefing regarding the safety, we will start with a practise at the shore. During the practise, you will get to know the right movement to stand up on the board.

When everyone is ready to go in the water, we will slowly start catching the waves. The instructors will be next to you to teach you and to guarantee the safety. You will learn how to approach a wave, how to stand on the surf board and how to paddle. This offer is ideal for beginners who want to learn how to surf or for those who want to practise their surfing skills. The warm-up will be done at the shore before going into the water.

How To Get There

• Meeting place: we will let you know the exact location once the beach will be chosen

• Meeting time: at the booked time

• Car parks nearby: at the meeting place (free)

• Pick up: if you wish to make use of our pickup service, please contact us after completing the booking. We pick you up from your accommodation, or a location really close to it, in Lagos, Praia da Luz and Burgau.

Start time

• The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 2 days in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

• Physical health

• Swimming ability

• Minimum age: 9 years (with an adult participating in the lesson as well)

• Minimum age: 14 years (without an adult participating but should be present at the beach)

• Not suitable for people with bad heart conditions

• Not recommended for people who suffer from any back problems, or had any back operations
