What to Expect

Leave your kids in the best hands with these kids ski lessons for young children aged 3 to 5 years. Nestled in the heart of the Black Forest, the Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl ski resort, the largest connected ski area in the region and boasting 29 km of slopes. Within this winter wonderland, the specially designated Thoma Kinderland provides a safe and engaging environment for your little ones to discover the joy of skiing. This area is designed to offer a perfect balance of fun and learning, ensuring that children feel comfortable and secure as they take their first steps on the snow. The group size is limited to a maximum of 5 children, allowing for personalised attention and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.

The lessons begin with a warm welcome from our friendly instructors who introduce the children to their equipment and the basics of skiing. Through a series of playful exercises, the young skiers learn essential skills such as balance and controlling their speed, which are crucial for building confidence on the slopes. The focus is on "learning through play", making sure each child enjoys their time while gaining valuable skiing skills. As the lesson progresses, children will practice their first turns and experience the thrill of gliding down gentle slopes.

The key learning objectives are to help the children become familiar with the snowy terrain and to give them a sense of achievement. By the end of the lesson, they will have developed a basic understanding of skiing techniques, setting a strong foundation for future adventures on the slopes. These ski lessons are ideal for young children who have never skied before, providing them with a memorable introduction to the world of skiing.

Meeting Time

We meet at our ski school office, right at the foot of the Seebuck slope, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. There, you will receive your course card.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

Kids do not need a ski pass for all the lessons in our Kinderland.
