Your adventure begins in the picturesque fishing village of Virpazar, where a brief orientation will get you ready for the day. Afterward, you’ll board a traditional wooden boat and begin your exploration. As you glide through narrow canals, you’ll spot the ruins of Lesendro Fortress. This centuries-old structure, often called "The Key of Lake Skadar," offers a stunning view and serves as a peaceful resting place for local birds. The highlight of the day is the Kom Monastery, located atop Odrin Hill and accessible only by boat. This 15th-century marvel is one of Montenegro’s best-kept secrets, with a grand bell tower and intricate frescoes that bring to life the artistic and spiritual heritage of medieval Montenegro. During your 30-minute visit, you’ll have time to explore the monastery grounds and enjoy sweeping views of Lake Skadar.
On the way back, we’ll stop in a quiet spot on the lake where you can indulge in an authentic taste of Montenegro, sampling locally produced wine while admiring the pristine surroundings. If you’re feeling warm from the journey, you’ll also have the chance to take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Skadar.
We meet at our information desk, 30 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free and paid parking nearby.
