Our short sightseeing tour offers you a chance to discover the famous Montenegrin Alcatraz, learn about its intriguing past from our knowledgeable guide, and enjoy the picturesque views of Lake Skadar. Your journey begins in Virpazar, where you'll step onto our comfortable boat, equipped with shaded seating and a selection of refreshing drinks.

As you navigate along a small river channel, you'll find yourself surrounded by a fence made of willows and reeds, offering stunning views of Mount Vranjina and the impressive ranges in Albania. Keep an eye out for local birds as the boat gently cruises towards Grmožur, the ruined fortress that looms before your eyes. Known as the “Island of Snakes” by the locals, this abandoned fortification was once used as a jail during the time of King Nikola. On your way back, the boat will stop in the middle of the open water, allowing you to take a refreshing swim and soak in the beauty of the lake.

We meet at our information desk, 30 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free and paid parking nearby.
