What to Expect
First time on skis, beginner or a little anxious? Then our adult ski lessons in the Schlossberg ski area are the right place to start! Our beginner ski lessons take place in the family-friendly Schlossberg ski area (9km from Winterberg). There you will find the perfect environment with easy slopes to make your first turns on the snow.
Our ski instructors teach according to the latest methods of DSV and DSLV. They support you in learning the right skiing technique. In this peaceful environment, you can learn to ski step by step or expand further.
The Schlossberg ski area is a family park with an area of approximately 2000 square meters, 2 children's lands, 4 slopes, 4 drag lifts, a snow cannon, a cosy ski hut and food truck with good food, a sun terrace, a playground, toboggan run (with sufficient natural snow), ski rental and a free parking space, enough to provide the whole family with all comforts and fun in the snow.
These ski lessons for adults are for skiers without any previous experience or for beginners.
Meeting Time
We meet 15 minutes before the course starts, directly at the “Schlossberghütte” (Schlossbergstraße 33, 59964 Medebach).
Equipment Rental
The booked equipment can be picked up the day before the booked lessons between 3 pm and 5 pm or on the day of the course from 9 am at either of the two rental shops (Schloßberg or Winterberg/Altastenberg). There is no need to inform the ski school which shop. Please arrive about 1 hour before the start of the course to try on the material. You can store rented equipment in our depot or keep it under your management.
Ski Pass
First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.
Germany · February 2025Despite having booked a beginners course, the concept of "turbo learning", as the ski instructor called it, was used, so that everyone was taught the basics well after a short time and was already on the slopes after just under an hour. After the course, you were already able to ski the blue to red slopes on your own with some confidence.
