Our rafting tour on the Ubaye river for families is the ideal activity for little ones and grown-ups if you want to spend a morning or afternoon with your children ! A guide will be on board with you and will choose the most suitable tour according to the experience and age of the group! It will be an opportunity for children from 4 years old to play with rocks and navigate on calm water. In the middle of the mountains, enjoy a 2.5-hour adventure on the Ubaye river, one of the most beautiful rivers in the Southern Alps. Your child's first paddle in the water will kick off a lifetime of great experiences, all in a safe environment!
Tour programme- Preparation:
Please meet us at our base in Méloans-Revel (free parking) 10 minutes before the start of the trip. We will provide you with modern, professional equipment, including a full-body wetsuit, neoprene booties, a helmet and a life jacket. The small group will then take the shuttle for a 10-minute drive to the starting point. Your trip can then begin as soon as your water safety briefing is complete. Generally speaking, each raft accommodates between 4 and 8 people, depending on the water level.
- Tour:
The state-qualified guide, aboard with you, will determine the route according to the age of the youngest participant and the motivation of each. You will be able to enjoy the gentle rapids and the unusual landscapes that surround you during 1.5-hour of navigation.
- Return:
Once the tour is over, the shuttle will take you back to the base where you will find changing rooms, hot showers, a sauna and free activities (bowling, Mölkky, slacklines) if you wish to continue this incredible day! You will also be able to admire the green nature that surrounds you to have a picnic in the wooded park or take advantage of the snack bar and the open refreshment bar.

It was a great experience! We were with our family of 4 with two kids age 5 and 6. The river was a bit wilder than we expected but our guide was great and navigated us smoothly through all the rapids. Can defintely recommend!
