Adventurous Rafting on the Ubaye River - Full Tour

Looking for a bit of a challenge? Come and discover the full rafting tour on the Ubaye river! Join your friends in the rapids of the river and enjoy 3.5 hours of excitement in the middle of the mountains of the Southern Alps. This sporty tour for people over 16 years old has slopes and requires a certain physical ability. You will start with the mythical Ubaye route, which is more gentle, and then attack the bigger rapids. Be ready to jump into the bubbling water in the middle of the rocky chaos! Go from being an apprentice to an expert in the Ubaye in just one day!

Tour programme - Preparation: We meet you at our base in Méloans-Revel (free car park) 10 minutes before the tour starts. We will provide you with recent professional equipment with a full wetsuit, neoprene socks, helmet and life jacket. Then, the small group will take the shuttle bus for about 10 minutes to get to the starting point of the activity. Your tour can then begin as soon as your water safety training is completed. Normally, each raft welcomes between 4 and 7 people, depending on the water level. - Tour: The qualified guide, on board with you, will help you to paddle between the rapids formed by the unevenness of the mountains. You will be able to enjoy during 2.5 hours of sportive navigation the unusual landscapes surrounding you. You will start with an easier section to get used to the flow of the Ubaye before going upstream to the more challenging part of the river, which will alternate obstacles and thrills for your greatest pleasure. - Return: Once the tour is over, the shuttle will take you back to the base where you will find changing rooms, hot showers, a sauna and free activities (bowling, Mölkky, slacklines) if you wish to continue this incredible day! You will also be able to admire the green nature that surrounds you to have a picnic in the wooded park or take advantage of the snack bar and the open refreshment bar.
