Rafting on the Verdon River - Discovery

If you are eager to discover magnificent gorges, experience the sensations of whitewater and share a convivial moment, you will love rafting! From the start of this discovery rafting tour on the Verdon, we have a superb view over Castellane and its fortifications. Along the route, rapids alternate with calmer sections. You are accompanied by a professional guide who gives you information, and of course he makes you paddle when we need speed. Towards the end of the route, the famous rapids “Barre Saint Jean” await us. This route is particularly suitable for families - so come with your children, from 6 years old!

Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at our base in Castellane, where you will be equipped. Then you will receive a briefing by your guide during which you should listen attentively. He gives you instructions on how to handle the paddle, information regarding your safety, and he explains the characteristics of the course. Now that you are ready to challenge the white water, you take a bus that brings you to the starting point. - Tour: On the boat, we pass some rapids, discover the fauna and flora of the Verdon and play games. - Arrival: After the tour, you will be transported back to our base.
