This classic rafting tour is for all those who do not get enough of the breathtaking view of the Verdon cliffs and wish to combine it with a sporting activity.
From the start, we have a superb view over Castellane and its fortifications. Along the route, rapids alternate with calmer sections. You are accompanied by a professional guide who gives you information, and of course he makes you paddle when we need speed. Halfway along the route we cross the famous rapids "Barre Saint Jean", and along the second part, we are really in the middle of the cliffs.

We meet at our base in Castellane, where you will be equipped. Then you will receive a briefing by your guide. He gives you instructions on how to handle the paddle, information regarding your safety, and he explains the characteristics of the route. Now that you are ready to challenge the white water, you take a bus that brings you to the starting point.
- Tour:
During the tour, we cross rapids and swim them down, jump off rocks and discover the geology of the Verdon.

Rafting on the Verdon was one of the highlights of our vacation in France. Experiencing the nature of the natural park from the viewpoint of the river was a new and fun experience for us. There was enough time to take in the sights while paddling and bumping to and fro on the river and its shores was a lot of fun as well. Our guide was very professional and gave clear commands for manoeuvres at appropriate times of the trip. The additional information given by him on the surrounding nature and the region was also very interesting.
