During this several days training, you will be supervised by one of our state-certified instructors who will ensure your safety. The exceptional Mediterranean coastal scenery and underwater wonders will enchant you.The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to: - Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet - Plan and execute dives with a certified buddyMeeting & Preparation After completing the booking, the dive centre will contact you to arrange which option you prefer between eLearning and on-site theory lecture. - eLearning: If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you access to the online study programme which you will need to complete before the course start date. On the first day of your course, all you need to do is present the confirmation you received from the eLearning platform to prove that you have passed the theoretical part of the course. You will then be able to go straight to the practical part with your instructor. - On-site theory lecture: If you choose the option of taking the theory course on site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom at the dive centre with one of our instructors after the practical applications. - Kick-off: We will meet you at our base in Hyères at the agreed time. Our base is affiliated with a holiday village, very close to the beach. You will therefore be able to enjoy the supermarkets, restaurants, showers and the village atmosphere. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by your instructor who will explain the program for the next few days. For the practical sessions, we take you to one of our dive spots depending on the weather conditions. During each session, your certified trainer will teach you the basics by alternating theory and practice. In general, we recommend doing the course in 6 days, with 1 dive per day to give you enough time to learn the theory. However, it can sometimes be done in 3 days. "The team was extraordinarily nice! We came way too late because we got a little lost and didn't get the right exits in Marseille. I called them and didn't think we could make the trip, but they called back and assured us that they'd wait a few minutes more. Once there out of breath, the receptionists and instructors were super nice, calmed us down that we don't have to stress us anymore! The instructor always made sure to show my 10year old stepson everything during the trip. We felt ourselves in very good hands!
