PADI Scuba Diver Course in Porto Sole Bay for BeginnersYou always wanted to go diving, but you don't have the necessary time to fully immerse in the PADI Open Water Course? This course is a good starting point and a cheaper alternative to the Open Water course, which allows you to take part in diving excursions accompanied by a professional diver and get to know the exciting underwater world! Goal of the course After successful completion of the course contents, you will receive an internationally recognized diving certification as a PADI Scuba Diver. With this, you can take part in diving activities up to 12 m depth within the scope of the acquired knowledge and skills, accompanied by a professional diver (instructor or divemaster). Meeting & Preparation At best, you come to our diving centre already 1 or 2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other, and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. You will fill in the customer card, liability release and health statement and receive the PADI Open Water Manual, so you can prepare already some theory. Then you get to know your PADI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course. Course content In this course, you will learn in 2 days approx. the first 3/5 of the Open Water course in theory and practice. This includes the first 3 theory modules as well as confined water modules 1 to 3 and open water dives 1 and 2. The confined water lessons take place in the shallow part of our Porto Sole bay. For open water dives 1 and 2 you will dive to the deeper part of our home reef. Guided Dives in Krk for Certified DiversJoin us for a guided dive from the beach or boat on Krk Island! To participate in this activity, all you need to have is an Open Water Diver certificate. During the dive, one of our professional dive guides will accompany you. Whether we visit a dive site by boat or drive to the chosen dive site by van, unforgettable impressions are guaranteed! Dive area Dive sites depend on weather conditions and are decided by the dive guides the day before the activity. The island of Krk is the perfect starting point as it leads to numerous dive spots. Here you can explore bays with colourful flora, a variety of fish species and harmless caves. Popular diving excursions for experienced divers include the wrecks Siebelfähren, Elhawi-Star or the Mafia wreck. Programme We meet at our dive centre at 9:30. If you arrive by car, you will find a paid car park near the centre. Your guide will be waiting for you on site and will give you more detailed information about the planning of the dive. If you don't have your own equipment with you, you can hire all the equipment you need on site for a small extra charge. Afterwards, you will already be on your way to the chosen dive site. If you choose to dive from the beach, you will take a van from the base to your dive spot on the beach. If you choose to dive from the boat, you will drive together with the guide to the harbour, where the boat is already waiting for you. With the boat, you will then navigate between 15 and 25 minutes to the selected dive site. You will be a maximum of 3 divers per guide. At the end of our dive, you will find a shower facility at our base to freshen up before enjoying the rest of the day on Krk.
