Boat Trip to the Gulf of Orosei & Grotta del Fico with Swimming Stops"It was an unforgettable experience for our family. The crew and the boat captain were a well-coordinated team, and everyone was very friendly. The captain always had a light-hearted joke ready. We were greeted with small pastries and watermelon every now and then. Drinks, coffee, and even something to eat were available on the boat. The three beaches we visited were beautiful. Light sand, crystal-clear water, and you could spot many fish while snorkeling. The stay was usually an hour, which was plenty. We then visited the "Grotta del Finco." It was quite nice, but not a must. You can also stay on the boat during this time and swim in the sea from there. At the starting point, we were told there was no room for us, despite our reservation made a week in advance. A refund was also not possible. After lengthy discussions, we were promised that we would be transported to Cala Luna in a small boat and could continue our tour there, albeit with a 2 hour and 10 minute delay. In the end, we had to wait for more than 3 hours in the sun in Cala Luna with our 11-year-old child before anyone came to pick us up. A day that began with many arguments and disappointments was completely turned around by the boat captain, Mr. Valter. What a sweet, thoughtful, and friendly person. All credit to @Valter.
