Sailing Boat Trip from Arbatax along the Gulf of Orosei"A lovely experience with a "private" feel due to the small number of passengers. The staff on board were very friendly. A warm welcome, the meal was excellent (for a boat meal), and the background music was pleasant (not at all cheesy). The boat is comfortable and everything is well thought out. One small drawback: the beach stop. I would have preferred a 1.5-hour stop on a truly beautiful beach rather than Mariolou, as it was rather uninteresting and far too crowded. I would have appreciated a bit more explanation about what was being shown (a little history or knowledge about Sardinia) rather than just "Cala blabla" and "Cala blabla" here. I think there's time on this kind of cruise to learn a little more (but that's just my personal opinion). Otherwise, the experience is worthwhile; the Gulf of Orosei is magnificent. It was fantastic. The choice of dinghy (comfortable and powerful) was excellent. Unfortunately, there are too many motorboats, huge and very invasive, unloading a huge number of tourists who fill the beaches and visibly pollute the sea. Skipper Franco was an excellent guide. The municipal shuttle service from the parking lot to the port is very convenient.
