Day Trip from Stintino to Asinara with Guided Tour"The entire tour was conducted exclusively in Italian, even though we had booked it in English! The landscape was very barren; you mainly saw donkey droppings, a few donkeys, horses, and goats. We couldn't eat our packed lunch at the lunch stop because it was swarming with wasps. The first swimming stop was okay, but stressful with the wasps. After only 15 minutes, we reached the second stop: unfortunately, we didn't understand that there was also a swimming area there, as only Italian was spoken, so we left our swimsuits on the bus. In Cala Reale, we couldn't do anything for 1.5 hours with a toddler in the heat. The "restaurant"/bar smelled terribly of a toilet/sewer, so we couldn't escape the wasps there either. "A fantastic experience and a great day!! Giovani, the captain, was very professional. The best way to enjoy the turquoise and crystal-clear waters of Sardinia. From the distance the sailboat leaves you, you can swim to La Pelosa beach in no time. We had our little dog with us, and of course, he went swimming too!
