"We were delayed due to a ferry from Genoa, and they were willing to wait for us a few minutes after the departure time; otherwise, we would have wasted a whole day on Asinara. They were also willing to let us return the next day since we were staying overnight on the island. The trip was smooth and relaxing, with beautiful views. We saw many people bringing their bikes."

"One day before the trip, I received an email informing me that the small train that was supposed to take us around the island was out of service. Instead, we traveled in a fully air-conditioned bus. At first, the trip was a bit disappointing. Not a single donkey in sight, or anything else for that matter. Well, to cut a long story short... In the end, everything was great, even fantastic. I was able to photograph countless donkeys. Black, gray, and white. Truly amazing. The prison visit was also very interesting. In conclusion, a truly wonderful trip, entertaining and very interesting. I'll definitely do it again sometime. However, next time I won't take a guided tour, but rather rent a jeep, golf cart, or something similar. Then I can decide for myself how long I spend looking at each place."
