Experience the great feeling of standing on the board and gliding over the water elegantly during our surfing lessons in the Algarve. Whether you are a complete beginner or have had little experience, our team will take you to the next level.
Due to the wide range of beaches Portugal has to offer, we will find the perfect spot for you to make your way to becoming a professional surfer in all weather conditions. We provide you with all the equipment you need. Find out what having fun in the water really means and have the time of your life!
Meeting & Preperation
We meet at our base in Lagos at 8:45 am. There we will hand over your equipment and you carry your wetsuit with you until we get to the beach where you can put it on. Together we go to the beach which gives us the best conditions for a successful course. Here the fun really starts!

I tried surfing for two days with Extreme Algarve and it was amazing. You drive with a group of people to a beautiful beach and then the instructors take care of you (your group) for the whole 3 hours (2+1 with a break) and you have a nice “picnic” lunch afterwards. The instructors are really experienced and they try to help you individually, that was great! The whole team is very friendly and nice, you also find some friends among your group, the vibes and the overall atmosphere are good. So I learned in two days some basics, stood up on the board couple of times, and really enjoyed it :-)
Thank you Extreme Algarve! I would come again!
P.S. One day is not enough, I recomment having 3 days, with a day off after 2nd day, because it was really exhaustig.. :-)
