Get on board one of our canoes and embark on an adventure! Ideal for families, this 8 km canoe-kayak trip in Ardèche will provide fun for both parents and children. In the heart of one of the most beautiful gorges in France, you will spend a day that you will not soon forget. Thanks to this calm descent, you will be able to take the time to admire the green nature of the region and to spend quality time with your relatives. On your way, you will also come across numerous beaches where you can stop for a picnic or a swim.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our base in the Châmes hamlet, just outside Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, at the booked time. Free parking is available on site. Then we will take the bus to our starting point in the village of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. Once you arrive, we will provide you with all the necessary equipment (life jacket, waterproof container, canoe and paddle), and we will give you a short introduction to the activity.
- Tour:
Now it's time to get in the water! During the whole day, you can paddle in peace and enjoy the green landscapes. This mostly calm course will still offer you some jolts when you pass the famous rapid called the Charlemagne. Once you have passed it, you will come face to face with the impressive Pont d'Arc. Along the way, you can stop for a swim or a picnic on one of the many beaches of the Ardèche Gorges.
- Return:
Finally, after 8 km of fun and laughter, you will finish your journey at our base, where you will find your car.
