Take up a new challenge and try to master our 32 km canoe-kayak tour in the Ardèche! This complete 8-hour course will allow the most athletic to discover all the surprises hidden in the Ardèche Gorges: between rapids, slides and natural wonders, you won't know where to turn your head. The cherry on the cake is that you will pass under the majestic Pont d'Arc!
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet
at our base in the Châmes hamlet, just outside Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, at the booked time. Free parking is available on site. Then we will take the bus to our starting point in the village of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. There we will provide you with all the necessary equipment (life jacket, waterproof container, canoe and paddle), and we will give you a short introduction on how to use it.
- Tour:Hop on your canoe and embark on a sporting adventure! The course will be punctuated by
several rapids, which will make your descent even more interesting. You will also pass several natural nuggets of the Gorges such as the
Pont d'Arc, l'Aiguille de Moranne, la Crique de la Madelaine et la Cathédrale, an impressive rock over 100 m high. Finally, you can stop at one of the river beaches for a
swim or a picnic. However, the tour is very long, so the stops should be rather short.
- Return:Your journey will end in Sauze, where shuttles will frequently come and go, between 4 and 5 pm, to bring you back to the base.
