These full day ski lessons for kids, set in the Grossglockner/Heiligenblut ski resort, are designed for children aged 4 to 15 who already have skiing experience and want to take their skills to the next level. With an amazing backdrop of Austria's highest mountain, the 3,798-metre Grossglockner, the resort features 55 kilometres of slopes with varying levels of difficulty, making it ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers.
On the first day, children are grouped according to their skiing ability, with a maximum of 12 participants per group. Our skilled instructors foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere, helping each child to progress and gain confidence. Intermediate skiers will focus on perfecting parallel turns, improving balance, and tackling steeper slopes, while advanced skiers will work on carving techniques, edge control, and navigating more challenging terrain.
A highlight of the week is the kids ski race held every Thursday morning, where young skiers can showcase their improved skills in an exciting and friendly competition. To ensure they’re well-prepared, a dedicated training session takes place on Wednesday. Combining skill-building, fun, and sportsmanship, every participant will receive a medal at the celebratory award ceremony, creating a memorable end to their lessons.
We meet in the ski school office, 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. From the second day on, the meeting point may vary. Your instructor will inform you about that on the first day.
If you book with supervision including lunch, our instructors will happily look after your children during the lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A delicious lunch is included. Alternatively, the instructor will inform you where to pick them up.
Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the valley lift station before the first lesson.
