Details
Here is a way to discover the Verdon in a fun and aquatic way!
This river trekking tour at the Pont de Tusset is particularly suitable for young children, as the rapids encountered are of low and progressive difficulty. Your little ones have fun while swimming in large water basins, crossing small rapids and doing a few optional jumps. But also the adults get their money's worth: They can jump from cliffs up to 7m!
Expect a wonderful view on one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the gorges and on the entrance to the Grand Canyon of Verdon.
Unlike canyoning, a river trekking descent does not include any abseiling passage.
Tour programme
We meet at our base in Castellane, where you will be equipped. Then you will receive a briefing by your guide. He gives you information about your safety and the characteristics of the course. Now that you are ready to challenge the white water, we take a minibus that takes us to the activity (25min). From there, we walk another 15min to get to the start. The course is located at the end of the Gorges du Verdon, where rapids and large water basins alternate. After our tour, you will be transported back to our base.
