I had an amazing experience with Miguel as my surf instructor. He was patient, encouraging, and took the time to help me accelerate my surfing. I was able to stand up on my first try and really focus on improving my technique with each wave. Everyone at the surf school was so nice. Another big plus was they had storage in a room to store all my valuables. I feel very confident surfing Matosinhos on my own next time and just renting a board and suit from them. Thank you to Miguel and the team for being so patient and understanding.

It was a great time! There were 4 of us, all beginners, and we requested 4 instructors at the same time, so we can have individual lessons together. It was wonderful! An amazing experience for each of us! We also got transferred from home to the spot and back home. The instructors are really friendly and supportive, we got an amazing experience!

Very fun activity! The surf instructors are great, always give you tips and you feel like you're in good hands. They also give good restaurant tips :) You can tell that they teach with passion. Not generic or too touristy, which is why you should plan more time than stated on the booking, as the time depends on the waves and the ability of the participants.

Even in the absolute off-season, you can get appointments. I was extremely happy with the surf instructor; it was fun and the lessons were truly personalized for my level as a beginner.

The FISH Surf instructors are all absolutely good, even though Francisco followed me in the group lesson, they explain the techniques well even with small waves on low tide days. You can't feel the cold of the sea but perhaps going there at the end of July would have been better...
