"Rocco, was amazing he was superb at explaining the difference between the Adriatic and Ionian seas. The caves were superb in their beauty and splendor, he explained their meanings and and why they are named ex. "Two black eyes" as well as why fisherman woukd go into certain caves to get out of the blaring sun. My son and I took the 1330 time frame, we were able to film and use videoography to capture the great beauty of Southern Italy, Marina Di Leuca is a great place to photography the buildings and dwellings many seemed uninhabited. I would recommend Rocco's excursion over a larger boat, the larger ones cannot get into the caves, Rocco was very pleasant uses Italian and English and answers questions you have. The cost is very reasonable for the time he takes you out. Bring water, Sunscreen, a head covering and food/snacks as they are not provided. "We had the most wonderful time with our guide, Biaggio. It was quite apparent that he treasures this beautiful part of the country. The historical information he shared with us as well as the stories about his family and growing up in the area made the trip outstanding. The sunset was perfect and the appetizers were delicious (his mother's recipe and he even shared fresh tuna that he actually caught himself in these very waters!) We were able to swim and explored one of the caves. He took great care of my husband's arm after swimming into a jellyfish. I highly recommend this tour with Biaggio. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!"
