Tour programmePreparationWe meet in Espiunca in Arouca, about
one hour drive from Porto. Here you will meet your guides, receive the necessary equipment and get changed. As soon as all participants are ready, we will take you to the starting point of our rafting tour on the Rio Paiva.
TourBefore you start you will receive a
safety briefing from your guide. Then everyone gets into the rafts and the thrilling ride can begin. On the command of your guide you paddle through exciting rapids and get to know the
Arouca Geopark from a very special perspective.
ReturnAfter about
2 hours on the water we reach the end point of our rafting tour which is also our initial meeting point. Here you can take a shower and change your clothes.
Tour facts- River: Rio Paiva (Difficulty level: IV)
- Description: The Rio Paiva is especially famous for the "Passadiços do Paiva", a network of wooden walkways that lead through untouched nature. From October to May, whitewater fans the river offers the ideal conditions for an unforgettable rafting tour in the middle of the Arouca Geopark.
