What to Expect

Is your child eager to learn skiing but unsure if it is the right fit? Then this introductory course for children aged 4 to 5 is perfect! In the heart of the Kaltenbach ski resort, young adventurers will embark on a delightful skiing journey, where they will learn the art of skiing with ease and joy. The lessons are tailored specifically for children, using modern teaching aids such as ropes, tyres, and fun noodles, ensuring a fun and engaging experience. The resort's unique Kid's World offers a child-friendly environment with a dedicated children’s park filled with entertaining games, making learning both efficient and enjoyable.

In the specially designed Kid’s Park, little skiers will receive hands-on guidance from our trained ski instructors. They will master the basics such as balancing on skis and making their first gentle turns. These are essential skills for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with the help of our Magic Carpet, a ski lift that gently transports the children up the practice slope. Here, they will experience more advanced exercises, such as navigating small hills and integrating play into skiing. This not only enhances their skills but also keeps them engaged and motivated.

Meeting Time

Please check in at our office (Postfeldstraße 36, 6272 Kaltenbach) the day before the lesson or on the same day until 9 am to collect the lesson card. For the lessons themselves, we meet 15 minutes before the start at the children’s park, located in the ski area directly at the mountain station on the left.

Lunch Care

Please pick up your children for the lunch break between 11:45 am and 1:15 pm.

Ski Pass

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

Kids do not need a ski pass for this course.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The maximum group size is 12 participants per group
