What to Expect

If your child wants to learn to ski efficiently or improve their skills, this private ski course for children from 4 years old, suitable for all levels, is just the right choice! Whether alone, with friends, or with family, benefit from intensive learning in this private course. Thanks to the flexible and individual design of the lessons by your personal ski instructor, optimal learning success is guaranteed. You can take advantage of the early morning course to enjoy the empty, freshly prepared slopes!

In the first part of the course, beginners get to know their ski equipment and learn the basics of skiing. This includes mastering balance and making the first turns, which are essential for confidence and control. Advanced children focus on parallel skiing and tackling steeper slopes. These skills help refine technique and increase enthusiasm for the sport.

The beautiful Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski area offers a variety of slopes for different skill levels. There is a Kids’ Park where little ones can learn to ski safely. Experienced skiers can explore the many slopes that match their abilities. You can choose to take lessons individually or in small groups with family or friends, as long as the skill levels are similar. This ensures an efficient learning environment tailored to your child’s needs.

Meeting Time

After purchasing your ski pass, take the red gondola on the left to the mountain station (second stop). From there, walk about 50 metres to the left to Meeting Point 2 in front of the Kids’ Park of Skischule Optimal.

Please be at Meeting Point 2 ten minutes before the course starts.

Ski Pass

Kids up to 6 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. All kids above need a ski pass.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• Meeting point 2 and the children's park are located in the ski area. Allow 15-20 minutes for the gondola ride from the valley to the ski area.

• The ski pass is not included in the price for the lessons.
