What to Expect

Your child wants to learn to ski but isn’t sure if it’s the right fit? Then this taster day is perfect for children between 4 and 5 years old! In the heart of the Zillertal, young adventurers begin a wonderful skiing journey, learning the art of skiing with ease and joy.

The specially designed children’s park is perfectly equipped to teach skiing in a fun and playful way. It serves as the meeting point for all children’s courses and is easily accessible on foot from Mountain Station II. With its three magic carpets and a safe, dedicated practice area for children, this resort ensures a fun and educational experience for young skiers. Using our magic carpet, children are carried up the practice slope, staying motivated as they learn to balance on skis and make their first turns.

The ski lessons are specially designed for children, with modern aids such as ropes, hoops, and fun noodles, ensuring an enjoyable and engaging experience. In the large play tent with swings and slides, children can take a break and play in between.

The Kids World (300m²) at Mountain Station II is our ski school’s own children’s restaurant. Here, we provide optimal lunchtime care in a child-friendly environment. Children can eat, play, and recharge before heading into the afternoon lessons. With various play areas, a children’s toilet, and a kids’ cinema, your children are perfectly cared for during lunch.

The absolute highlight of the week is the children’s ski race on Thursday, where every participant receives a certificate and medal—a wonderful reminder of their progress. With a mix of structured learning and playful activities, these courses offer an unforgettable introduction to the world of skiing.

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the course starts at the top station, 50 meters to the left in the ski school’s kids’ park.

After you have purchased your ski pass, please take the red gondola on the left side up to the top station (second station). From there, walk about 50 meters to the left to our meeting points. Meeting point for children’s ski courses: Kids’ park. Allow 15–20 minutes for the gondola ride from the valley to the ski area!

Lunch Care

If you book including supervision with lunch, our instructors will be happy to take care of your kids during the lunch break from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm. A delicious lunch is included. Alternatively, you can pick them up from the kids' area "Kinderpark" if you booked without supervision.

Ski Pass

Kids up to 6 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. All kids above need a ski pass.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 5 participants

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The kids’ race course is in the Kinderpark behind the 40-meter covered conveyor. Beginners start on the right at the exit. Start times and awards will be announced by the ski instructor on race day. Only children with lessons until Thursday can participate.

• We recommend that beginner children (4-5 years) start with a taster course.

• The Kinderpark is located in the ski area directly at the mountain station on the left. The gondola ride from the valley to the ski area takes approx. 15 - 20 minutes.

• The ski pass is not included in the price of the ski lesson.

• All children in the group course have the safe option to extend their ski course on the following days.
