What to Expect

These private snowboarding lessons for kids from 8 years and adults are ideal if you want to learn how to snowboard or improve your skills. Located in the beautiful Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski resort, these lessons offer a perfect environment for all learners. The resort is known for its picturesque alpine scenery and modern facilities, providing a great backdrop for your snowboarding experience. With a variety of slopes, from gentle beginner areas to more challenging runs, there is something for everyone to explore.

The lessons are designed for both beginners and more advanced snowboarders. Beginners will start by learning the basics of snowboarding, such as how to balance, control speed, and make their first turns. These skills are essential for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes. As participants become more comfortable, they will also get to know their equipment—an important step in gaining independence as a snowboarder.

For those with some experience, the lessons will focus on snowboarding on rougher terrain and refining technique and posture. This includes mastering steeper slopes and learning to navigate more complex areas of the resort. Whether you choose a one-on-one setting or join a group of up to 12 family members or friends with similar levels, you will enjoy personalised guidance that maximises your progress. Meeting Time

Please check in at our office (Postfeldstraße 36, 6272 Kaltenbach) the day before the lesson or on the same day until 9 am to collect the lesson card. For the lessons themselves, we meet 15 minutes before at Meeting Point 2 (exit of the mountain station on the left, in front of the children’s park)

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• Meeting point 2 and the children's park are located in the ski area. Allow 15-20 minutes for the gondola ride from the valley to the ski area.

• The ski pass is not included in the price for the lessons.
