What to Expect

This private snowboarding course is perfect for children from 8 years old and adults who want to learn how to snowboard or improve their skills. Located in the beautiful Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski resort, these courses provide an ideal environment for all learners. The resort is known for its picturesque alpine scenery and modern facilities, offering a great backdrop for your snowboarding experience. With a variety of slopes, from gentle beginner areas to more challenging runs, there is something for everyone to explore.

The courses are designed for both beginners and advanced snowboarders. Beginners start by learning the fundamentals of snowboarding, such as balance, speed control, and making their first turns. These skills are essential for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes. As participants become more comfortable, they will also become familiar with their equipment—an important step toward independence as a snowboarder.

For those with some experience, the courses focus on snowboarding on more challenging slopes and refining technique and posture. This includes snowboarding on steeper or uneven slopes. Whether you choose a private lesson alone, with family, or with friends, you will benefit from personalized guidance that maximizes your progress. Meeting Time

After purchasing your ski pass, take the red gondola on the left to the mountain station (second stop). From there, walk about 50 metres to the left to meeting point 2 in front of the Kids’ Park of Skischule Optimal.

Please be at meeting point 2 10 minutes before the course starts.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• Meeting point 2 and the children's park are located in the ski area. Allow 15-20 minutes for the gondola ride from the valley to the ski area.

• The ski pass is not included in the price for the lessons.
