The bay is up to 10m deep and besides scorpion fish, cuttlefish, gurnard and conger eels you have the possibility to see seahorses. The bay offers ideal dive conditions, making it the perfect spot also for children and beginners. Dive Area The bay Porto Sole is only 25m away from our diving centre. We affectionately call it the seahorse house bay, as you often get to see these little sea dwellers. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet at our dive centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. After you have filled in the customer card, liability release and health statement, we will give you a briefing about the course of the dive and show you the premises. You then meet your dive guide and get the equipment. After a very short walk, you already are at the entrance area. - Diving: Your dive guide will guide you to the most beautiful places in the bay. Guided Dives to Koversada for Certified DiversIf you like adventures, this is the place for you! This dive site offers two steep walls, which show a particularly species-rich flora and fauna. At 16 m a small wreck awaits you where sometimes the bizarre John Dory can be found. Dive Area The Koversada dive site is only 3 minutes drive with our bus from our centre. Underwater you can see sea needles, lobsters, congers, fork beards as well as numerous shoals of fish and antlers sponges. Colourful nudibranchs and a small wreck, as well as giant oarfish, are some of the highlights. The diving depth is 5 to 25 m. "I booked an introductory diving course online with Gueni, from land, with my partner's three kids (10, 11, and 14). The exciting, clear underwater world and the empathy of Katharina, Josef, and Gueni herself during the briefing and conduction were so great that all three kids absolutely wanted to participate in another introductory dive.
The next step up was the double-dive introductory course from the boat! The one-hour boat ride there and back from the dive site, which was located on an uninhabited island, was quaint and wonderful for everyone.
The encounters with the octopuses Bernhard and Henry, as well as many fish, sea cucumbers, and other creatures were a fantastic experience!
Everyone was completely satisfied, and one of the three kids has already passed his Open Water Diving exams today."
